Our Varsity Coach, Kerri Snipes, brought together our JV and Varsity women’s teams for an unforgettable afternoon of college basketball and team bonding as we watched the Duke Women take on Miami. It was my first time at Cameron Indoor Stadium—and I’ve got to say, it was incredible. The place has a classic, old-school vibe, and its smaller size made it even better—we had an awesome view from our seats and felt close to the action the entire game.
Miami got destroyed 90- 49 as Duke had much better shooting percentage. The one stat that jumped out at me was 19 assists for Duke and only 5 for Miami!
After the game we went down to the court and mingled with the players before snapping a pic. That is me hiding in the second row, right hand side next to Sydney – she’s 6′ 3″!
I am looking forward to the next team bonding event!
